Abstract
CONSERVATIVE POLITICS IN THE AGE OF MOBILIZATION: RETHINKING THE ROLE OF INSTITUTIONS
The aim of this article is to discuss how institutions have become important again for global politics, particularly conservative politics. In this respect, firstly, mobilizations which are rising in global politics will be evaluated and then the role and importance of the institutions in the literature against mobilization will be discussed. After that, the experience of the major conservative traditions in power applying to institutions will be investigated. It will be argued that political contexts and institutions as well as social and cultural factors must be included in the analysis. In other words, it will be argued that besides sociological debates, institutional debates should not be neglected. Additionaly, the capacity of conservative politics in institutional debates will be emphasized.
