Özet
Her yıl binlerce turisti ağırlayan Çanakkale ili turizmden hak ettiği payı alamamaktadır. Oysa turizmde sürdürülebilirlik ve yerel kalkınma için turistin kalış süresinin uzatılmaya ihtiyacı olduğu kadar yerel halkın turizme karşı tutumu da oldukça önemlidir. Bu araştırmanın amacı; Çanakkale İlinde yapılan turizm faaliyetlerinin ekonomik, sosyal, kültürel ve eğitimsel olarak insanları nasıl etkilediğini tespit etmektir. Araştırmanın deseni tarama modelindedir. Çalışmanın verileri araştırıcılar tarafından geliştirilen bir anket formu ile toplanmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Çanakkale ilinde yaşayan yerel halk örneklemini ise Çanakkale il merkezinde yaşayan 580 kişi oluşturmaktadır. Anket formları 2013 yılı bahar döneminde şehrin farklı bölgelerinde yaşayan, ankete katılmaya gönüllü kişilere uygulanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler SPSS 17.0 paket programında değerlendirilmiş, tablolar oluşturularak yorumlanmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, turizm faaliyetlerinin ekonomik, sosyo-kültürel ve eğitim açısından örneklem üzerinde olumlu katkılar sağladığını göstermiştir.

Abstract
Although thousands of tourists visit every year the province of Çanakkale, it is not receive enough tourism income. However, sustainability in tourism and local development needs for the extension of the duration of stay of tourists. So local people’s attitudes towards tourism is also important. The aim of this study is determined the effect of tourism activities which are economic, social, cultural and educational on local people Who are living in the province of Çanakkale, Design of the study is screening model. The data was collected using a questionnaire developed by the researchers. The universe of this study is the local people living in the province of Çanakkale, the sample of this study is 580 people living in the province of Çanakkale. Survey forms were implemented to the people during the spring of 2013 who participated volunteers that they were living in the different parts of the city. The research of data obtained from the SPSS 17.0 package program and setting the tables were reviewed. According to the findings of the research, ıt is seen that tourism activities have a positive impact on sample, in economic, socio-cultural and educational.
