Özet
Industry is the basic base of the economic structure in countries. Although the city of Al- Kadhimiya was distinguished by its religious, historical and geographical position it was considered a pioneer in comparison to other cities in Iraq. As it became the first location and site for the localization of the first modern factory to textile and wool industries by the investor Fattah Pasha in 1926, which nationalized for the benefit of the public sector in 1964 with a group of large companies, and thus the city became a region attracting many industries, including textiles. As many textile industries have been established, including the cotton textile factory, a factory handmade carpets, silk industries, swing and furnishings. And the historical continuity factor is the one that distinguishes the city of Al-Kadhimiya by becoming an industrial pole for these industries, and it is mainly inherited from grandparents to parents and then children. It has become a major industry and a leader in the city of Kadhimiya.
