Özet
Bu araştırma Irak edebiyatında çok kısa hikâye türünü tarihi ve objektif bir metotla gelişimini incelemeyi hedeflemektedir. Aynı zamanda Irak roman dünyasındaki edebi ve sanatsal özelliklerini ele almaktadır. Çok kısa hikâye kendine has özellikleri olan, nesir türüne giren edebi türdür. Aynı zamanda onun birtakım özel teknikleri vardır. Bunlar hacmi kısadır. Yoğun bir etkisi vardır. Tek parçadır. Kısa hikâye akımı içindedir. Sembolik ve özlü anlamlar içerir. Olaylardaki dinamizm, gerilim ve krizi nitelenen kısa cümleleri kullanır. Biz bu araştırmada kısa hikâye ile çok kısa hikâye arasındaki farkı ortaya koymaya çalışacağız. Kısa hikâye on sayfadan fazla olmayan bir sanat türüdür. Fakat çok kısa hikâye daha kısa ve daha yoğun bir anlatım günü olan iki sayfa veya daha az olan sanattır. Çok kısa hikâye Arap ülkelerinde ve Irak’ta 20. Yüzyılın ortalarında ortaya çıkmıştır. Çok kısa hikâye Irak’ta el-Yetim ve Mevtu’l-Fakir hikâyelerin yazan Nuil Ressam ve meşhur “İşrune Kıssa Kasira Cidden” kitabını 1974 yılında yazan İbrahim Ahmet, Ferac Yasin, Heysem Behnam Berdi, Abdulvahid Muhsin, Cemal Nuri, Aişe Atıyyeen-Nuaymigibi hikâye yazarları yanında önemli bir yer kazanmıştır.
Bu çalışma, çok kısa hikâye kavramının genel olarak, isimlendirilmesi ve tarifini, Irakta ’ki önemli özelliklerini açıklayacak ve Irak’taki gelişiminin tarihi evrelerini ele alacaktır.

Abstract
This research aims at studying the origin and development of the very short story in the literature of Iraq through the objective historical approach, It also discusses the most important artistic and literary features in the Iraqi novel world, . The very short story is a creative art of literary genres, a modern artistic prose that has its foundations and principles. It also has certain mechanisms and special techniques that are employed.
Such as shortness of size, intense intonation, disc unit, brief narrative, symbolic, hint and abbreviation, and the use of short sentences marked by movement, tension and stalemate of facts and events. In this research we find the difference between the short story and the very short story, the short story is a short art that does not extend to more than ten pages; The very short story is a more refined and intensive art that does not extend the same writing to more than two pages or less. The very short story has appeared in the Arab world and Iraq since the middle of the twentieth century. The short story in Iraq was given the attention of the storywriter like Noel Ressam, who wrote two very short stories: "The Orphan" and "The Death of the Poor", And Ibrahim Ahmed, who wrote his well-known book: "Twenty Very Short Stories" in 1974, Faraj Yassin, Haytham Bahnam Barada, Abdul Wahid Mohsen, Jamal Nuri, Aisha Attiyah Al Nuaimi ... and others.
This study attempts to explain in general terms the definition and designation of the term short story and a statement about the most important features and distinctive in Iraq, and then stand on the historical stages of the development of stories in Iraq.
