Özet
Until recently, geography was just one of the colors of knowledge, its mission is limited to providing young people with a degree of knowledge about their environment, and this image did not qualify geography to be promoted to the ranks of specialized sciences or to be recognized in academic forums, but geography surpassed this crisis, and its suffering ended when it was proven. The main purpose of science is to study the whole field of knowledge, meaning that science has no subject that is unique to it alone, as geography is one of the sciences that revolve around methodology.
Geographical thought studies have not received the abundant share of research and investigation, like their counterparts in the many branches of geography, despite their importance in crystallizing the concepts and methods of research and intellectual frameworks for geography and its various branches. Hence, the aim of the study came to identify an outstanding Iraqi personality who is considered one of the scientists and thinkers of Iraq, as a bright sign in the history of climatology at all local and regional levels is Professor Dr. Fadel Baqer Al-Hasani, one of the most prominent and pioneering Iraqi professors in climatology, taking place at the Summit of Climate Studies. , It did not occupy this position out of thin air, but was preceded by a long life full of serious work in this difficult, uplifting field, in a very modest contribution to the right of one of the flags of the geography department at the University of Baghdad, the owner of a scientific school, which is a school that is methodologically strict and keeps pace with the successive global scientific developments, and the importance of the study lies in the definition of circles the academic with his scientific personality and his active contribution to laying the foundations of contemporary geography in Iraq.
