Abstract
LOOK AT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LITERATURE AND MACHINERY THROUGH THE TEXTS OF NAZIM HIKMET RAN ON MACHINE BUILDING AND TALIP APAYDIN ON YELLOW TRACTOR
Along with the development and change of the world, human life has also undergone changes. One of the factors that cause a change in life or lifestyle is machines. Machines, which began to manifest themselves in the first quarter of the 19th century, have made their existence more felt, especially since the 20th century. These machines, which make their presence felt so much in human life, naturally also influenced literature. As a result of this effect, in this study; one of the Turkish literature and the other prose genre through two works - centered on modernism - the entry of the machine into life and its impact are discussed. Village life is at the center of the works of both the nazim genre and the prose genre considered in the review. The main thing to be expressed when we say village life is the need for land, agriculture and machinery. The process of eliminating the need of the soil for the machine, the effects of the machine coming to the village on the village life and the thought world of the village are described. The village instead of machine to be used in factories in cities, essential for a country's development, while it is interesting how two literary; probably because they think that it must be from the village of the country will start development for the advancement of the importance of the machine, instead of village life over city life have given.
