Abstract
THE WESTERNIZATION PERIOD IS THE NOVEL HERO IN THE TURKISH NOVEL AND THE GOVERNESS AS EVENT LEADER
One of the elements that the Ottoman Empire brought about by the Westernization adventure is the governess. Over time, some of these mobsters who are taken into the marriage for the betterment of children of wealthy families, foreign language learning and western education, get out of their primary duties and cause immoral events. These governess have been the subject of literature which is a reflection of social life. Sometimes the work is both a name and a central hero, sometimes as an ordinary hero / type. Somewhere in the novels, the folks are in some cases a misrepresentation of the false westernization, and some of the disruptions in our educational system and the deterioration of the moral structure.
