SUFFICIENCY AND EFFICIENCY OF E-GOVERNMENT APPLICATIONS IN BAGHDAD CITY
The research topic addressed the extent of sufficiency and efficiency of e- government applications in the city of Baghdad at the level of ministries, and the positive role these applications and websites provide in providing e- services through the government portal, which contributes to the comprehensive digital transformation planned by the Iraqi government according to the strategy prepared for the years 2012-2025, and which reflects on keeping pace with the leading countries in this field in our current era, which is witnessing rapid technological development and the transition from the era of paper services followed in government departments and institutions to the era of digital government services, as the data related to the research were obtained from the field study and through the National Data Center in the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and according to the standards approved by the Ministry of Planning and the United Nations in measuring the progress of e-government, which was an attempt to know the level of services of each Iraqi ministry, as well as to know the spatial differences that occurred, and the study showed that there is a slight difference between the ministries and that e-services are in the process of maturing but have not reached the desired goal, hoping that they will reach their peak in the coming years.
