GEOGRAPHICAL DISTRIBUTION OF OUTSTANDING STUDENTS IN INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL IN KARBALA GOVERNORATE DURING THE TWO ACADEMIC YEARS (2010-2011) (2021-2022)
This study aimed to identify the phenomenon of academic excellence of students in the intermediate stage of Karbala Governorate during the two academic years The phenomenon of academic excellence of students is .(2022-2021) (2011-20210) one of the positive phenomena that reflects the level of education in any society, as outstanding students are important human resources that must be optimally invested so that investing this human energy contributes to the development and progress of society. This research was divided into two sections. In the first section, the researcher dealt with the numerical and relative geographical distribution of outstanding students in the study area during the two years of study, while the second section focused on the relative distribution of outstanding students according to gender (males - females). The research concluded that the study phenomenon was characterized by its temporal and spatial variation. While their percentage in the academic year (2010-2011) was 30.51%, the percentage rose in the second academic year to 69.49%. The variation in the percentages of outstanding students according to gender was also evident, as outstanding females recorded a superiority in their percentages over outstanding males. It reached
