Abstract
WOMEN EDUCATION IN THE WORKS OF MÜNEVER AYAŞLI
Münevver Ayaşlı is known for her nostalgic work, in which she shared her testimony of the fall of the Ottoman Empire and the foundation of a new country. As an author who has Islamic-conservative point of view, she mostly prefers Westernization, Ottoman aristocracy and the secular politics of the Republic as her topics. She also mentions in her works, despite the risk of giving damage to the fiction and the narration technique.
In this study, her criticism of the Ottoman aristocracy and Repuclican staff in the context of women and education is approached based on her novels.
