Abstract


INSPECTION OF ORGANIZATIONAL CITIZENSHIP BEHAVIOUR OF ALL EMPLOYEES WORKING AT HEALTHCARE INSTITUTIONS IN ASPECT OF DEMOGRAPHICAL CHARACTERISTICT
The purpose of this study is to research organizational citizenship behaviour level of all employees working in Bandırma Public Hospital affiliated to Public Hospitals Union in terms of demographic characteristics. On this purpose, all employees working in Bandırma Public Hospital forms the basis of our study (N=936 persons). Research has been made with the survey technique and research type is cross-sectional research. Sampling group determined with the method of stratified sampling is n=257 persons. Croanbach alpha value of the scale of “Inter-organizational citizenship behaviour” used in research is 0,875. Organizational citizenship behaviour in the research has been examined in terms of inter-organizational cooperation, inter-organizational knowledge exchange, inter-organizational gentleman-likeness, and inter-organizational adaptability and has been reviewed with the sub-dimensions of age, gender, marital status, education, occupational seniority and duty. As the result of the research, it has been detected that there is a meaningful relationship between the organizational citizenship behaviour and demographic characteristics.
