LEGAL QUALİTY OF SPORTS SPONSORSHİP AGREEMENTS
Inthisstudy, startingfromtheconcept of sponsorship, thehistoricaldevelopmentandthedefinition of sponsorshiparementioned, and legal regulations on sponsorshipareemphasized. Inaddition, the legal structure of thesportssponsorshipcontract, thedifferenceswithsimilarcontractsandthereasonsforterminationwereexamined.Thesportssponsorshipcontract is an atypicalcontractthatimposesdebts on bothparties, includes a continuousdebtrelationship, and has a uniquestructure.The sponsor wantstotakeitsplace as a party in sponsorshipagreements in sports in ordertoincreaseitsrecognition, publictrustandbrandimage. Since sponsorship is a conceptcloselyrelatedtothefields of publicrelations, marketingandadvertising, sponsorshipwill be triedto be explainedthroughthesefields. Inthefollowingparts of thestudy, the legal dimensionwill be mentioned. Theatypicalfeatureofsponsorshipcontracts, theirdifferencefromothercontracttypes, theiruniquefeaturesandtheconcepts of termination of thecontractwill be discussed
