Abstract
THE EFFECT OF ORGANIZATIONAL TRUST ON RESISTANCE TO CHANGE AND INNOVATIVE WORK BEHAVIOR
This research was conducted to determine the effect of organizational trust on resistance to change and innovative work behavior. The concept of organizational trust is identified as individuals expectations for organizational relations and behaviors. Resistance to change is expressed as an employee behavior that does not adopt an organizational change, does not contribute to the realization of change and also wants to prevent change. Innovative work behavior is defined as the general behavior process that starts with the innovative ideas of the employees and continues with the creation and implementation of new products, methods and production processes. Organizational trust is considered as a determining factor for achieving and maintaining success.
The study consists of four parts. In the first part; organizational trust, in the second part; resistance to change, in the third part; the concepts of innovative work behavior are examined, and in the fourth part, the research and findings of the related concepts to determine the relationships with each other and the effects on each other are included. The research was carried out on a volunteer basis between 17.02.2022 and 09.04.2022 with the participation of white-collar employees in companies operating in the automotive sector in Kocaeli. As a result of the analysis, it has been determined that organizational trust has a statistically significant effect on resistance to change and innovative work behavior.
