Abstract
TURKISH WORKS WRITTEN ABOUT SYNTAX
Arabic is one of the rich languages in terms of words and style. Although the Arabs did not have certain written rules in the pre-Islamic period, they spoke without any deterioration in the language, adhering to the grammar rules. However, with the fact that non-Arabs became Muslims in the Islamic period and this language became widespread as the language of religion and science in the conquered regions, language errors called “ lahn” began to occur in the language. In the face of this danger, it has become a necessity to determine the grammar rules of Arabic. Language studies, which started from the first century of Hijri, firstly continued with the creation of the rules and, accordingly, the works that written on this subject. Works that provide a better understanding of the rules in each period have been copyrighted and important studies have carried out in this field. In our country, in order to meet the needs of people who are studying in the field of Arabic or working in this field especially, copyrighted works have also been put forward in addition to translated works. In this study, brief information about the history of syntax will be given and information about the content of the reached Turkish works will be presented.
