Abstract
SÖZCÜKTEN CÜMLEYE KOMPOZİSYON YAZMA SÜRECİ
Misperceptions and misinterpretations regarding writing essays are discussed in the present research. Researcher object to conception of essay writing as divulging proverbs or wise-sayings exploiting the process as a quieting agent. Grounded theory, one of the qualitative research methods, is applied. An essay writing model based on cognitive processes in proposed in the research. The research concludes that essay writing is a mental process with cognitive foundations based on structuring and recalling the information available in the mind.
