Abstract
THE SYSTEM OF ETHICAL VALUES IN SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH: CRITERIA FOR ARBITRATION OF SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH IN ARAB UNIVERSITIES: A SURVEY STUDY TO MEASURE THE OPINION OF A SAMPLE OF PROFESSORS OF ARAB UNIVERSITIES WORKING IN GULF UNIVERSITIES IN THE PERIOD FROM 2016 TO 2017
This research deals with the ethical values system in scientific research: through a descriptive and analytical study on the arbitration controls for scientific research on a sample of Arab universities in the period from 2016-2017, by designing a questionnaire of 64 individuals.
The research deals with the ethical problems facing scientific research in terms of scientific arbitration and how to solve them. The research also defines a system of ethics and literature provisions for the supervision of scientific research. Because of the difference in vision and consideration of peer-reviewed research from one examiner to another, it was necessary to define a set of criteria and controls for arbitration that would guarantee such research an appropriate amount of quality, achieve justice, exclude the personal considerations and consider only the scientific interest, and thus we will exclude the harm to the scientific research that we hope that It is a major reason for the advancement of the nation and the awareness of society
The research under study consists of three chapters, where the first chapter deals with the system of moral values in scientific research, and the second chapter deals with the provisions for supervising research and scientific theses, then the third chapter comes with the field study, and the research ends with a number of findings and recommendations.
A scientific field study was conducted on a sample of Arab university professors who work in Saudi public universities, whose strength is "64" individuals, who are entitled to participate in the supervision processes for masters and doctoral theses, or who participate in the arbitration and discussion committees and in the internal or external examination. A random sample of Arab university professors in Saudi universities was selected. As one of the Gulf labor markets that Arab professors have migrated to.
