Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN GENERATION Z AND THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION
The fourth Industrial Revolution entails not only the increased usage of internet-connected tools in production but also carrying out fundamental changes in industrial areas, and achieving innovation in many fields from business development to engineering by means of employing the internet and artificial intelligence in the production of smart machines. As for Generation Z, it refers to the individuals born between 2000 and 2030, who are not “immigrants” in the world, but its “rightful owner”,and is also known as the golden generation or Generation Alpha. Generation Z cares about not only technology but also nature, people, books, planets, in short each and every element of life. The study aims to emphasise the relationship between Industry 4.0, which is deemed as future technology, and Generation Z. Subsequent to the literature review, the data were analysed and evaluated. Despite the lack of studies that delve into the relationship between Industry 4.0 and Generation Z, these concepts are predicted to be interrelated. Hence, the study is considered to pioneer future research.
