Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS AND ECONOMIC GROWTH: G-7 AND INDIA
In this age of knowledge economy, taking a place in global competition is the current issues of economies keeping economic growth at a stable stable level. Considering the contribution of R & D expenditures to economic growth, FMH protection, which will encourage R & D activities, is a very important issue. Because FMH protection has a positive effect on economic growth by influencing the production activities, productivity of the countries and having an encouraging effect on trade. In this context, this study evaluates the impact of FMH protection policies on growth with G-7 countries and India. Within the scope of the study, the impact of R & D activities in line with India's FMH Index is compared with G-7 countries and draws attention to the importance of IPR protection.
