Özet
Turizm, eğlence ve spor sektörü ile yakın ilişkili bir alan olan rekreasyon; bu alanda çalışacak insan kaynağının özelliğini de karmaşık hale getirmektedir. Bu durum, rekreasyon alanında çalışacak bir kişinin temel rekreasyon aktörleri yanında hizmet verilen alanın, tesisin ve grupların özelliklerine göre bazı yetkinliklere sahip olmasını gerekli hale getirmiştir. Belki zaman içerisinde ortadan kalkacak olan bu insan kaynağı ile ilgili yapısal karmaşık gerçeklik, bugünlerde üzerinde çalışılması gereken bir boşluğa işaret etmektedir. Bu bağlamda çalışmanın amacı, rekreasyon aktivitelerinin bu denli yoğunlaştığı günümüzde bu alanda faaliyet gösteren işletmecilerin yetkinliklerini ortaya koymak olarak belirlenmiştir. Nitel araştırma yöntemi kullanılan araştırmada ülke genelinde yoğun talep gören yedi adet rekreasyon işletmecisi ile görüşülmüş ve görüşme sonucunda elde edilen veriler ile gerek bu alanda çalışma yapacak araştırmacılara gerekse de sektöre giriş yapmak isteyenlere yol gösterici niteliğinde katkı sağlanmaya çalışılmıştır.

Abstract
Recreation, which is closely related to tourism, entertainment and sports sector; complicates the nature of the human source to work in this area. This has made it necessary for a person who will be working in the field of recreation to have some competencies, in addition to the basic recreational actors, according to the characteristics of the field, the service area and the groups served. Perhaps the complex structural reality about this human resource that will disappear soon indicates a vacancy that needs to be studied nowadays. In this context, the aim of the study is determined to demonstrate the competence of managers operating in the field today, where recreational activities are so intense. In the research using qualitative research method, seven recreation managers who were in high demand in the country were interviewed and it was tried to contribute to the researchers who will work on this field as well as to guide those who want to enter the sector with the results obtained from the interviews.
