Özet
Fotoğraf bir sanattır, sanat sadece görmeyi ve fayadalanmayı sağlamaz, Aynı zamanda sanatsal, fonksiyonel ve estetik değerleri de temsil eder. Fotoğraf sadece bir anlamı değil, aynı zamanda amacı ve ifadeyi de temsil eder. Bilinç bir şeyi açıklamak ve anlamak istediğinde sadece ifadeyle ve ifadenin imgeleriyle iktifa etmez, bunun yanında işitme ve söyleme olmadan sadece bir görsel imaja da vurgu yapar ve anlama fotoğraflaştırır. Ancak fotoğraf belli bir andaki durumun dondurulmuş halini görselleştirir. Fotoğraflama işlemi fotoğraflayanın konuya hangi kültürle yaklaştığını ve fotoğraflananın hangi kültürü temsil ettiğini de belli bir an aralığında göstergeye dönüştürür. Bu araştırmada Tilimsan gelin törenlerinde kullanılan gelinlikler ve bu gelinliklerin fotoğraflanması süreçlerinin inşa ettiği imajlar açıklanacaktır.

Abstract
