Özet
This study aimed to find out the obstacles to using educational technologies in secondary schools in Tulkarm governorate from the teachers’ view point, and the effect of the study variables (gender, academic qualification, school location) on the opinions of secondary school teachers about the obstacles to using education technologies in secondary schools in the Tulkarm governorate. The study was conducted in the first semester of the academic year (2019/2020). The study population consisted of all secondary school teachers in Tulkarm governorate, who numbered (1016) individuals, including (457) male teachers and (559) female teachers. The study sample consisted of (203) male and female teachers. It was a random stratified sample. The researcher developed a study tool, which is a questionnaire that measures the obstacles to using education technologies in secondary schools in Tulkarm governorate from the teacher’s view point. It consisted of (33) items, and the validity and reliability of the study tool was verified. Stability coefficient is (0.90). The study reached the following results: The obstacles to using educational technologies in secondary schools in Tulkarm governorate from the teacher’s view point came to a moderate degree. The study showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the obstacles to using educational technologies in secondary schools in Tulkarm governorate from the teachers’ viewpoint in favor of variables of gender, academic qualification, and school location. The study recommended providing electrical generators or solar cells to generate electricity for schools, and focusing on holding training courses for teachers and students on the use of educational technologies and their importance in the educational process by the Ministry of Education .
