Abstract
EFFECTS OF GLOBALIZATION ON THE TURKISH EDUCATION SYSTEM AND REFLECTIONS IN PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER PROGRAM
This study, it is analyzed that relation of globalization with education, effect of globalization on education and Turkish education system, reflection to the primary school teacher as well. Purpose this study is to reveal “how primary school teachers are influenced from globalization”. İn this study the question how the change in Turkish education system affect the primary school teacher in accordance with globalization is tired to be answered. Although the idea of globalization gives different perception to people, it has still continued to be one of the phenomena mostly discussed and searched on all over the world, and it will be the process to continue. It is one of the mostly discussed topic that the change made by globalization has positive and negative effects on societies. However, when most of the researches are examined, the common idea is that the societies will change as planned if the globalization is made correctly. In the process of globalization, the change is inevitable. The important thing there is how the societies are trying to reorganize this process. When it is thought in this perspective, the adaptation to the globalization process of the primary school teachers, who are one of the most curious factor of social changes and education system, is significant. The education system of globalization world is aimed to grow up the educators who understand these global values.
