Abstract
EDUCATION AND ENTERTAINMENT IN CHILD-FOCUSED SOCIAL MEDIA ENVIRONMENTS
Today, the media has begun to shape on the digital space with the development of technology. One of the most important elements of digital media is social media, an environment in which individuals interact in order to socialize. Social media has become an environment in which children are active in children as well as being a medium frequently used by adult individuals. However, as is the case with all individuals, social media environments for children also bring certain risks. Social media environments contain useful content as well as inappropriate content. Uncontrolled and non-reflective content and games can lead to significant problems in the development of children. For this reason, child-focused entertainment and education-based social media environments have begun to be created. Through child-focused social media environments, children can also access content appropriate to their age.
