Summary


EVALUATION OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROCESS FACING STUDENTS IN THE SUBJECT OF STATISTICS CONCERNING SCIENTIFIC COLLEGES FROM THEIR POINT OF VIEW
Analytical descriptive study to evaluate educational process that facing students in the statistical subject in the scientific colleges and from their point of view in order to identify level of causal relationships between the characteristics of the respondents to evaluated response's level in light of a proposed questionnaire which included several domains, such that: (Nature of subject, Application of the subject, Purposes teaching and teaching methods, Syllabus, and relevance to the educational stage). The study included of non probability sample of size (159) respondents classified in three general specification (Basic Sciences, Health and Medical Sciences and Engineering Sciences). The results of a pilot study proved high validity and reliability. Methods of descriptive statistics were applicable: (Frequency, Percentage, Mean of Score, Standard Deviation, Relative Sufficiency, Graphical Presentation), as well as an inferential statistics were applied, such that (Studied of relationships between respondent's characteristics with the level of their responses which were redistributed (under/upper) cutoff point, as well as factor analysis). Among the most important conclusion of this research is the rises results of the evaluation of an overall according to global level and reflects the success of the evaluating process, which interpretation the high level of scientific university's students with scientific specializations in general, especially with regard to the nature and application of statistics, in spite of relative decline purposes of educated and teaching methods, syllabus, and relevance to educational stage in a moderate evaluation. And among recommendations of this study is to reviewing the current syllabus of teaching statistical subject for the scientific specifications through combining applied syllabus with general of studied specifications.
