SOME DEFINITIONS AND EXAMPLIFICATIONS IN GLOSSARYS OF TURKISH LANGUAGE ASSOCIATION
Divanü Lugati at-Türk, the first dictionary of the Turkish language, has a history and a tradition of nearly a thousand years of Turkish language lexicography. The way in which definitions and examples are given differs in each dictionary. After the Tanzimat years, lexicography gained momentum and today it has reached a more advanced position. As a result, there are innovations in the presentation of the definitions and examples.
