THE GEOPOLITICAL DIMENSION OF THE CONFLICTS OF THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY
With the multiplicity of types of conflict in the twentieth century, ideological conflicts became a reason in which people paid many losses, and those ethnic, religious or national tendencies crystallized into the entry of terrorism as a type of conflict. In addition to sectarian strife, as this led to the depletion of human and material resources and created a kind of distinction between components, migration and displacement in other countries and with the expansion of these conflicts and their spread over large geographical areas, as is the case of the Arab Spring or the expansionist movement of terrorism that suffered and still are some countries in the Middle East or Europe and other countries of the world in the twenty-first century. Also, conflicts take many types. We emphasized dealing with these conflicts according to their type and subject, and in the second topic the geopolitical effects of the twenty-first century conflicts were studied, especially religious conflicts that took on a political character. Creating a kind of geopolitical conflict, and in recent years, ethnic conflicts have emerged and what states have created in terms of discord, displacement and other effects. There were countries that were affected by a number of geopolitical effects, the most bloody of which were Iraq, Ukraine, Yemen, Afghanistan, Darfur, Syria, Congo and Nigeria.
