Abstract
EXAMINATION OF TEACHERS' VIEWS ON THE APPLICATION OF THE SUPPORT EDUCATION ROOM IN PRIMARY EDUCATION
Today, studies are carried out on the education of students with special needs in our country, as in the whole world, and the importance given to the education of students with special needs is increasing. It is important that students with special needs receive the necessary education so that they can continue their lives like their peers and become active members of society. The purpose of the education given in the support education rooms is to ensure that the students with special needs receive the necessary education and integrate them with the society. This research is carried out with the aim of examining and evaluating the opinions of teachers about the implementation of support education rooms in primary education and presenting solutions. In this study, the case study model, one of the qualitative research methods, is used. The study group of the research consists of 28 teachers, 12 women and 16 men. A semi-structured interview form consisting of 4 questions was used to collect the data. After obtaining the necessary opinions from the teachers, content analysis was conducted by dividing them into themes and codes. Based on the results of the research, the opinions of the teachers about the support training rooms applications were examined and solutions and improvement suggestions were presented for the support training rooms applications.
