Abstract
FACTORS AFFECTING CHILDREN'S RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
Childhood is one of the most important periods of life in which an individual's innate abilities emerge and are shaped. For this reason, in order for their abilities to develop in a healthy way, individual must be trained with appropriate methods and techniques by knowing developmental characteristics of childhood. Considering mentioned issues and value it gives to human life, this study tried to investigate developmental characteristics of childhood, determine how religious development is shaped, and make suggestions against difficulties encountered.
Difficulties arising from providing and directing the child's social and individual tendencies and desires are among the main factors that make education difficult. Examining the negative effects of the social environment, mass media, school and family, which play a role in the emergence of these problems, from a multifaceted perspective and making various suggestions will be beneficial to the Science of Religious Education.
