Abstract


THE CENTURY OF TÜRKİYE MAARİF MODEL: A PERSPECTIVE ON CULTURAL VALUES AND DIGITALIZATION IN EDUCATION
The Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Model is a transformative initiative designed to align Turkey’s education system with the demands of the modern world, while also safeguarding and enhancing its national and cultural values. This model not only prioritizes academic success but also fosters the moral, emotional, and social development of students. By integrating skills such as digital literacy, critical thinking, financial awareness, and sustainability into the curriculum, the model equips students to thrive in a globalized society. Additionally, it emphasizes the preservation of national identity and cultural heritage, ensuring students grow as responsible, values-driven individuals. One of the model’s key principles is promoting educational equality, offering all students, regardless of background, equal access to quality education. This paper delves into the fundamental aspects of the Türkiye Yüzyılı Maarif Model, examining its holistic approach to education, its role in developing global competencies, and its vision for shaping future generations.
